Research Interest: My current interest focuses on using first-principles calculations (for example, density functional theory) to study electronic and magnonic properties of cobalt-iron alloys. We want to find materials which can have long-living, low-damping magnons. They can have potential applications for quantum information processing. I am also studying plasmons in quantum materials, including topological insulators and metallic monolayer with substrate screening. I am interested in interplay between topology and interaction in quantum many-body systems, and how it determines collective excitations in those systems.
