Research Interest: I study the structure-property relationship between quantum dots and their optical properties. I combine insights from density functional theory calculations, quantum dot synthesis, and machine learning of optical spectra to describe this relationship. So far my work has focused on mercury-cadmium chalcogenide quantum dots.
